Septic system repair starts when something in the house or the yard looks wrong. The drains run slow, or a wet spot shows up over the tank. On an aerobic system, the alarm may go off. Eastern Oklahoma Septic Services repairs conventional and aerobic systems, and our crew finds the problem on site.
We fix what failed: a broken baffle, a cracked lid, a crushed line or a pump that quit. When the trouble sits in the lateral lines, also called the drain field, our lateral line repair covers it. Eastern Oklahoma Septic is based in Sapulpa and works about 40 miles around it. Call or text (918) 645-0557.
Tell us about the new install or what your septic or aerobic system needs, and where the property is. We look at the job and put the quote in writing.
The EPA lists the warning signs of a failing septic system. Water backs up into toilets and sinks, or tubs drain very slowly. You may hear gurgling when water runs. Outside, look for damp spots, soft ground, a sewage smell or bright green grass over the system.
One slow sink is often a clog inside the house, and that is a job for a plumber. When every drain runs slow, or the yard shows these signs, the septic system is the place to look. Sewage backing up into the house is an urgent call for our emergency septic service.
The diagnosis happens on site. We open the tank to see the water level and the baffles. Then we check the lines on both sides of it. Most of the time the crew can tell right there whether the lateral lines are failing.
A conventional system is a septic tank and lateral lines. Oklahoma rules call for a baffle at the inlet and the outlet of every septic tank. The EPA explains that the outlet keeps sludge and scum in the tank. When the outlet baffle breaks, solids can reach the lateral lines and clog them.
We replace broken baffles and cracked lids, and we repair the lines that run to and from the tank. State rules call for septic tank lids to be properly secured. When a full tank is behind the backup, septic tank pumping is the fix. If the tank itself has failed, we tell you and quote the replacement.
An aerobic system has more moving parts. The aerator, the pump, the spray heads and the alarm can each wear out. We repair them and replace the parts that are past saving. The Oklahoma Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) calls maintenance the key to avoiding costly repairs. Our aerobic septic system maintenance covers that side.
A repair makes sense when the tank is sound and one part has failed. Put in a new baffle or a new pump, and the rest of the system can keep doing its job.
Replacement comes up when the tank itself has failed or the lateral lines can no longer take water. Oklahoma rules count replacing the lateral lines or an aerobic unit as a new installation, even if the tank stays. That work needs an Authorization to Construct from the DEQ before it starts.
