Lateral Line Repair
Soggy ground and slow drains after a rain often point to the lateral lines. We find the problem on site, then repair the lines or put in a new lateral field.

Aerobic septic system maintenance is a set schedule of checks on the parts that run every day. The aerator feeds air to the bacteria that break down the waste. A pump sends the treated water out to the spray heads. When one of those parts quits, you may smell it in the yard or hear the alarm.
Eastern Oklahoma Septic Services is a septic company in Sapulpa that works across the Tulsa area. We set up service plans for aerobic septic systems with spray heads, and we give conventional systems routine checks. Call or text (918) 645-0557, and we put the plan and its price in a written quote.
Tell us about the new install or what your septic or aerobic system needs, and where the property is. We look at the job and put the quote in writing.
Each visit starts at the aerator, the air pump that feeds the aeration tank. We listen for it running and check that air reaches the tank. When the air stops, the treatment slows and the tank can start to smell.
Next we open the pump tank and test the pump and its float. We test the high-water alarm, and we check the chlorine on systems that use it. State rules call for treated water clear enough to see the pump tank's bottom. We look for that too.
Then we run the spray heads and watch each one throw a low, even spray. We measure the sludge in the trash tank, the first tank in line. When it runs high, the next step is septic tank pumping. Before we leave, you hear what we found, and any repair gets a written quote first.
The Oklahoma Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) sets the state's septic rules. For the first two years, the installer must maintain an aerobic system (OAC 252:641-10-3). On spray systems, that means testing the chlorine and measuring the sludge at least once every six months. The installer also tells the owner in writing what was done at each visit.
After those two years, the upkeep falls to the owner. You maintain the system yourself or hire someone to keep it working as designed. Another DEQ rule says sewage must not surface or pool, and tanks must not leak or overflow.
The rules also set a timer to run the spray daily between 1 a.m. and 6 a.m. The heads aim no higher than 15 degrees, so the spray stays low. The spray area must be planted or terraced to stop runoff. We adjust a timer or a spray head that has drifted from those rules.
A conventional system is a septic tank and lateral lines (the drain field), with no aerator or spray heads. It needs fewer checks than an aerobic system. The DEQ's homeowner guide says to have the septic tank inspected once a year.
On a routine check we measure the sludge and scum in the tank and check the lids. We look over the lateral lines for soggy ground or a sewage smell. Wet ground over the lines can call for lateral line repair. We check both kinds of systems across Creek County and the Tulsa area, about 40 miles around Sapulpa.
